Michele Bondesan, double bass player with a strong classical and contemporary and jazz background, has been active for years in improvisation and creative music, playing with the leading Italian exponents of these fields (Giancarlo Schiaffini, Stefano Battaglia, Gabriele Mitelli, Silvia Bolognesi, Emanuele Parrini, Alessandro Giachero, Achille Succi and many others), performing in different contexts (Umbria Jazz, Teatro alla Scala, Torino Jazz Festival, Novara Jazz, Istanti Sonori, Iljazzitalianoperleterredelsisma, Now Music Festival, Torrione Jazz Club, Festival Aperto di Reggio Emilia, Jazz Station Bruxelles, Hot Club de Gand, The Music Village, Piazza Verdi RaiRadio3) and contributing to various recordings and publications (Fabbrica5, Bluering – Vol. I, Brotherhood Oak, Materia, Big Monitors Knotes and Notes, BlueRing Underwood, Katharsis People and Places, Brotherhood River stone, Music for Dance, “Tapestry” w/Luca Perciballi).

He is among the artistic directors of BlueRing-Improvisers and of the “Now Music Festival” .
